Using large-format thermoforming combined with precision CNC machining, CoreFinish manufactures true three-dimensional architectural wall panels where depth, movement, and shadow are physically built into the material itself.
This is not routed relief, surface engraving, or applied laminate.
It is formed geometry — created by heating solid surface and engineered skins to a controlled pliable state, shaping them over precision molds, and permanently locking the form as the material cools.
Thermoformed, Not Engraved
Unlike CNC-carved textures that remove material and create shallow visual effects, thermoforming repositions the material’s mass. The panel flows into dimensional contours, producing:
- Authentic 3D depth, not cosmetic patterning
- Continuous surfaces without delamination points
- Organic curves and compound geometry impossible to achieve with cutting alone
Once formed, the geometry becomes permanent — it will not relax, flatten, or degrade over time.

How It’s Made
We heat solid surface and engineered skins in a 12-foot thermoforming oven, shaping them over proprietary molds. Once cooled, panels retain their geometry permanently and are CNC-trimmed to final dimensions on our 6×12 machining centers.
